May 2009 - Qualifications abound at PTP

Congratulations are due this month to David Johnson of Product Technology Partners Ltd (right in picture), who joins a select group of expert LabWindows/CVI Developers in the UK whose credentials have been recognised and validated at the highest level. In order to become an NI Certified Developer, candidates have to complete a comprehensive evaluation of their understanding of concepts, style and advanced topics, as well as the applied use of their programming knowledge, equipping them to deliver first class solutions for business and industry. David joins Martin Saxon, Kevin Snelling and Richard Thomas from PTP who have also achieved Certified Developer status with National Instruments. PTP now provide three of the five Certified LabWindows/CVI Developers in the UK as well as a Certified LabVIEW Developer.

LabWindows/CVI is a proven ANSI C development environment for test and measurement that greatly increases the productivity of engineers and scientists. For more than 20 years, C developers have used LabWindows/CVI to develop high-performance, stable applications in the manufacturing test, military and aerospace, telecommunications, design validation, and automotive industries. LabWindows/CVI streamlines development in these areas with hardware configuration assistants, built-in measurement libraries, comprehensive debugging tools, interactive execution capabilities that developers can use to run functions at design time, and advanced analysis and scientific user interface tools.
