Our client required a PC-based product, initially for the logging and analysis of environmental acoustic noise. We designed a combination of electronic hardware and software that has been certified to comply with the relevant international standards. Through the addition of extra software applications, we have worked with the client to develop the product further to provide vibration measurement and analysis, to provide production noise and vibration testing of mechanical assemblies and (using a hand-held computer rather than a PC) to provide a fully portable versatile environmental noise analyser. Further developments in the product hardware and software are ongoing.
A manufacturer of access control technology wanted to introduce a new range of low frequency radio transponders to identify personnel and asset tags. We have worked closely with the client to develop the algorithms and production electronics for the transponder front end, which is based on Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology.
