Although their capabilities are limited, handheld computers have advantages in applications where portability and/or extended operation on batteries is required.

The major operating system platforms for handheld computers are PalmOS and Windows Mobile, and PTP have experience in developing for both of those platforms. In particular, we have experience in the following areas:

Data entry and GPS
Audio frequency data acquisition and analysis
Software development for Windows Mobile using Microsoft tools and LabVIEW^TM PDA
